A note on proper Weyl collineations in Bianchi type-V spacetimes

A study of proper Weyl collineations (WCs) in Bianchi type V spacetimes is presented using algebraic classifications of Weyl tensor and rank of the Weyl matrix. Studying WCs in these spacetimes, we prove that they do not admit any proper WCs. Some interesting physical aspects are also discussed.
