Abstract

KK-Masses and Dipole Theories

Gravity Duals a la AdS/CFT of confining gauge theories are notoriously plagued by the non-decoupling of KK-states not belonging to the gauge theory spectrum. It has been conjectured that certain deformations of the gravity backgrounds might improve the decoupling. These deformations correspond to so-called dipole deformations on the field theory side. I briefly review the gravity backgrounds in question and give a detailed study of the KK-spectrum in Dipole deformed field theory.
