Abstract

Dynamics of mixed binaries

Neutron star - black hole binaries are of high interest for a number of reasons. However, this problem is too complex to be treated analytically and has to be done by numerical simulations. I will outline the motivations and will introduce you to some of the previous work. After shortly presenting some recent results of our numerical simulations, I will outline our future plans in this direction.
