Abstract

Solitonic generation of solutions including five-dimensional black rings and black holes

We present new axisymmetric stationary solutions of the vacuum Einstein equations in five-dimensional asymptotically flat spacetimes. These solutions are obtained by the use of some convenient solitonic solution-generatring method based on the four-dimensional method. The solutions include both the S^1-rotating black ring and S^2-rotating black ring. And further, we give the solutions corresponding to superimposing black rings and a black hole. We analyze the qualitative features of these solutions. We also investigate the rod structures of seeds and corresponding generated solutions.
