Polytropic and Adiabatic Relativistic Spheres

A simple assumption of polytropic or adiabatic behaviour enables us to approximate main features of compact objects like, for example, neutron stars. Using such simple model of non-rotating, spherical symmetric neutron star we study differencies between stars consisting of polytropic or adiabatic fluid with various limiting condition such as common mass, radius or central density. These model compact objects with common parameters mentioned above may have quite different inner structure.
