Braneworld cosmological singularities |
We study cosmologies given as three branes embedded in a five dimensional bulk sourced with a scalar field and/or a perfect fluid. We analyze the asymptotic behaviour and the possible types of singularities that arise in such cosmologies. We find that a general feature of these asymptotics is the leak of the cosmological constant out of the brane and into the extra dimension. |
