Abstract

Charged Rotating Black Holes in Higher Dimensions

In this talk we will present both exact and numerical stationary (multi-)axisymmetric black hole solutions in higher-dimensional Abelian gauge field theories (Einstein-Maxwell, Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton, Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons, ...). We will analyze their properties and discuss their extremal limit, emphasizing those new features that do not appear in four dimensions. We will also show that in all these theories the system of field equations reduces to an ODE's system for odd-dimensional cases when all the angular momenta have the same magnitude.
