Geometry of Black HoleThermodynamics

Thermodynamics of black holes in diverse dimensions using the language of Riemannian geometry known as the Ruppeiner geometry. The Ruppeiner geometry is the Hessian of the Gibbs function of black hole thermodynamics. We have found that the Ruppeiner geometry, when it is curved, tends to be physically suggestive. The flat Ruppeiner geometry makes it possible to study thermodynamic state space of black holes in simplified picture. In this talk we will discuss a few black hole families, e.g. Kerr, Reissner-Nordstrom and dilaton black holes.
