The talk will present results of a harmonic formulation based Cauchy code, developed at the AEI, comparing it with the AEI BSSN code. While the code development effort is still in full steam, the harmonic code is already giving some promising results both for high-spin isolated black holes and for the head-on problem. In addition to presenting our latest results, the talk will also give a brief overview of the code details as well, highlighting points where our work differs from other similar efforts. |
