Abstract: I describe a cross-correlation analysis conducted to search for a stochastic gravitational-wave background using data taken by the LIGO Livingston interferometer and the ALLEGRO resonant bar detector during LIGO's Fourth Science Run. Data were taken in three different ALLEGRO orientations to modulate the gravitational-wave correlations, and simulated signals were injected in hardware as well as software. |
