Comparing the Newtonian limits for conformally related theories of gravitation |

The Bicknell theorem shows the relation between the vacuum field equations for conformally related theories of gravitation. This theorem can easily be generalized to include conformally invariant matter. But how to include other type of matter is still a point of debate. To start a clarification, we analyse the Newtonian limits of such pairs of conformally related theories. |
