Rotating black holes and rings in five-dimensional general ralativity as solitons.

Abstract_

We show how the well-known Belinski-Zakharov method can be applied to find solutions of the Einstein equations in D-dimensional space-time with D-2 commuting Killing vectors using the complete integrability of this system. When applied to the D=5 case, the method has allowed to give a new derivation of the well-known Myers-Perry solution. It is also the most promising way to find the general black ring solution with two nonzero angular momenta.
