Gravitational collapse of spherically symmetric charged fluid in RN-de Sitter

Abstract_

Gravitational collapse of a spherically symmetric charged ideal fluid was studied in Mashhoon et.al. In this work, gravitational collapse of same type of matter is studied in the presence of the cosmological constant. The exterior spacetime of the fluid is considered as Reissner-Nordstrom de Sitter spacetime. A certain type of solution of the Einstein field equations is given and two specific examples of such spaces are given; RN-de Sitter and charged Mc Vittie solutions. After the effects of the cosmological constant on some physical quantities such as red-shift and event horizon are calculated, the singularity structure of the spacetime is studied.
