Status of the TAMA300 detector |

We report on the present status of the gravitational wave detector TAMA300, which is out of operation but under replacement of the isolation and suspension system for Fabry-Perot arm cavities. A pair of the new seismic attenuation system (SAS) has been installed into one arm of the interferometer and its performance test is in progress. The replacement will be completed in this autumn and the operation will be restarted until the end of this year. The other activities related to TAMA will be also mentioned in this report. |
