The dual description of singularity inside AdS black hole |

It is investigated how boundary theory describes singularity inside AdS black hole via AdS/CFT correspondence. As a toy model we consider timelike singularity inside a two-dimensional AdS black hole formed by gravitational collapse. We explicitly calculate Wightman function constructed from two-dimensional massless scalar field and show that the timelike singularity can be represented by a one-parameter family of the time functions in the dual boundary theory. This indicates that singularity inside a black hole can be detected in the holographic dual. |
