From thermalization mechanisms to emission processes in GRBs |
Observations of gamma-ray bursts imply that hot optically thick electron-positron plasma is formed in their source. We have studied thermalization of this pair plasma with baryonic loading, hydrodynamic expansion and cooling up to transparency as well as transition from collisional to collisionless regimes, and finally plasma dynamics of collisionless cold ultrarelativistic streaming plasma. In this talk special attention will be given to specific physical conditions at each epoch of plasma evolution. |
