Expasion of Lie Algebras in Gravity Theories

We consider a simple model that suggest a mechanism by which general relativity in odd dimensions may be embedded in Chern-Simons gravities based on an expansion of AdS-Lie algebra. The Chern-Simons lagrangian is built from the invariant tensors of the expanded algebra. We show that general relativity in five dimensions emerge at a special critical point in the space of coupling.
