Abstract

OC1

CMB From Space and From a Balloon

I'm going to discuss two current CMB experiments which should provide excellent data sets in the VERY near term. Planck is en route to L2 and will provide the highest resolution and sensitive, full-sky, polarized maps to-date. Spider's first flight is scheduled for Spring of 2010, observing with 1600 detectors on a balloon platform over Australia. I will discuss the potential combined impact of these two experiments on cosmology.
