Abstract

ANM6

Using openGR for Numerical Relativity

openGR provides an open framework to carry out general relativistic simulations; binary black holes are of primary interest. The SAMRAI based fourth order accurate finite difference code is modular in design, making it possible for outside users to add further functionality. Results of scaling tests on up to 32,768 processors are shown. We will outline the current capabilities of openGR and discuss future prospects for the code.
