Abstract

APT2

kHz QPOs and their relations to spin frequencies of neutorn stars

The correlations between spin frequencies and kilohertz quasi-periodic oscillations (kHz QPOs) in neutron star low mass X-ray binaries are discussed. Some kHz QPO models are mentioned. The updated data of kHz QPOs and spin frequencies are statistically analyzed. We also found that the average kHz QPO peak separation in 6 Atoll sources anti-correlates with the spin frequency in the form of inverse relation. If we shifted this correlation in the direction of the peak separation by a factor of 1.5, this correlation matches the data points of the two accretion powered millisecond X-ray pulsars, SAX J1808.4-3658 and XTE J1807-294.

GW1

Millisecond Pulsar as a source of gravitational wave

MIllisecond pulsar is formed by an accretion in binary system, where it accreted matter, which deduces its polar field but increases its equator field. The stronger inner field is buried inside star and deformes the NS structure elliptically, which makes MSP as a source of gravitational wave. We estimated the power of GW, and critical rotation period to spin down MSP. Moreover, we also consider the AIC process to form MSP, by which the deformation of MSP is discussed.
