GRAVITACIONAL RADIATION EMISSION IN TeVeS

In this work we studied the emission of gravitational radiation in TeVeS. By considering that the waves of TeVeS propagate on cuasiestatic background, we calculate the total power associated to each field. The emission of radiation in TeVeS depends now on the dipolar terms. In the case of a binary system we calculated the rate of total gravitational radiation that is emitted by the system and we observed that in the limit when K approach to 0, l is proportional to k−3/2, and K is proportional to k, the total power corresponds to that of General Relativity. Taking into account a new alternative version of TeVeS proposed by Sanders, we establish a cote on the value of the adimensional constant K. That constant is in the order of 10−90, in this limit the General Relativity result are recovered.
