Abstract

Holographic Quantum Foam

Due to quantum fluctuations, spacetime is foamy on small scales. A quantum foam model consistent with the holographic principle is discussed. We update our proposal to test this model by looking for halo structures in the images of distant quasars. We outline some possible applications of quantum foam to cosmology. We also show that, in the gravitational context, the phenomenon of turbulence is related to the properties of quantum foam.
