Active Galactic Nuclei at TeV energies |
Current imaging atmospheric telescopes have now gathered a sample of more than twenty active galactic nuclei (AGN) at very high energies (VHE). The majority of these TeV gamma-ray AGN are blazars. However extragalactic radio galaxies now emerge as a new family of VHE cosmic sources, with the discovery of Centaurus A in the TeV range. This contribution will review recent advances of the field. |
