Abstract

Supernova Neutrinos

Collapse driven supernovae are among the most energetic explosions in the universe, but the explosion mechanismis not clarified. . Supernova neutrinos are important probe of supernova cores, and give us important informations for understanding the explosion mechanism. In this talk, recent studies on supernova neutrinos are reviewed. The plan is as follows, 1. Numerical simulations of stellar collapse and neutrino Burst, 2. Neutrino trapping and the opacity in supernova cores, 3. Effect of neutrino oscillation on the detection of neutrino burst, and 4. Background neutrinos due to past supernovae, and the detection.
