Talk Title

High-order perturbation theory of spherical spacetimes

Abstract

We present a systematic approach to the study of high-order perturbations of arbitrary spherical spacetimes, possibly time-dependent. The framework is based on the combined use of geometrical tools adapted to spherical symmetry, efficient techniques of tensor computer algebra, and precise numerical codes. This talk discusses the key ingredients and ideas of the formalism as well as its application to the study of mode coupling on vacuum and fluid backgrounds.
