Improved Black Hole Masses Out to Redshift 3 |

Abstract |
We present improved estimates of Black Hole Mass and Eddington Ratio for quasars at low and intermediate redshift. Data for sources at redshift z>1 come from high S/N spectra obtained with ISAAC on the ESO VLT1 telescope. We find no convincing evidence for BH masses greater than log M_BH>10.0 or for super-Eddington emitters. |
