The High Energy Sky: The MeV-GeV-TeV connection

Abstract

After more than 6 years of operation, ESA’s INTEGRAL Space Observatory has produced a remarkable portfolio of results, ranging from the inventory of the high energy sources, to the discovery of dozens of variable sources to the mapping of the Al and annihilation line in the Galaxy. In particular, INTEGRAL is continuing the deep observations of the Galactic Plane and, at a lower sensitivity, of the whole sky in the soft Gamma ray range. The new upcoming IBIS soft gamma ray Survey catalogue will contain a substantially increased number of sources detected from 20 keV up to several hundreds of keV. We will present a view of the INTEGRAL high energy sky with particular regard to sources emitting at high energy and their relation with the new AGILE and FERMI GeV results.
