Talk Title

TeV Galactic Sources with MAGIC

Abstract

MAGIC is (since 2004) one of four large imaging air-Cherenkov gamma-ray telescopes in operation. Among them, it has the lowest energy threshold (~50 GeV) and the largest single dish (17m diameter). MAGIC is located off the coast of Northern Africa, in the Canary island of La Palma, Spain, at an elevation of 2250m a.s.l.. A review will be presented of the Galactic sources observed with MAGIC, with special emphasis given on transient and periodic phenomena.
