On the Geometry and Energetics of the "dyadotorus" |

Abstract |
The ``dyadotorus'' is the region around a charged and rotating black hole where pair creation occurs via vacuum polarization. In this talk both the topology and geometry of this very peculiar region as well as its local and global energetics are mathematically and physically discussed. Finally the possible effects of backreaction on the metric due to pair creation are discussed. |
