Magnetorotational supernovae

Abstract

We consider results of simulations of magnetorotational core collapse supernovae. We show that amplification of magnetic field due to the differential rotation leads to the angular momentum transfer and formation of the MHD shock wave. This shock wave produce supernova explosion. The supernova explosion energy in our simulations can be up to 2.6 10(51)erg. The shape of the supernova explosion depends on the initial configuration of the magnetic field.
