Abstract |
Non gravitational Black Holes M. Novello Institute of Cosmology, Relativity and Astrophysics (ICRA/CBPF) Brasil We shall review the structure of the effective metric that appears in the propagation of the discontinuities in non-linear field theories. We examine the case of scalar and vector (electromagnetic) fields. In particular we present the structure of an electromagnetic Black Hole generated in a flowing dielectric medium with a linear or nonlinear response to an external electric field and its possibility of being generated in laboratory. |
