The growth of matter perturbations in f(R) models |
|
Abstract |
This work considers the growth of matter perturbations in some f(R) models, showing that they present an observational signature which allows us to distinguish them from $\Lambda CDM$, via the values of the growth parameter $\gamma_0$ and its derivative $\gamma_0'$. It also discusses some issues on the definition of energy densities in these models and on the scale-dependance of the effective Newton's constant, as well as experimental bounds on the models' parameters. |
