A stable road to Superacceleration |

Abstract |
In this talk I will discuss a new broad class of scalar-field theories which are minimally coupled to gravity and yet can violate the Null Energy Condition (NEC). The main interesting feature of these theories is that the violation of NEC can occur in a manifestly stable fashion. Namely, the perturbations around the NEC-violating configurations have positive definite kinetic energies and a positive speed of sound. |
