Inflationary Potentials in non-canonical models |

Abstract |
We show that the usual inflationary potentials - large- and small field polynomial, hybrid and exponential - have analogs in D-brane inflation with similiar properties. We show that there are non-canonical potential with a polynomial form which predicts values for the scalar spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio in very good agreement with the current WMAP5 values. |
