Prospects and progress of DECIGO / DECIGO Path Finder |

Abstract |
DECIGO (DECi-heltz Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory) is a space-based gravitational wave detector project which focus around 0.1Hz frequency band. This edeci-Hzf frequency band is an intermediate band between ground-based gravitational wave detectors and larger base line space-based detector LISA. We will present physics targets of DECIGO: gravitational waves from inflation, super-massive black-hole et al., and also present the instrumental design of the detector and future prospects of the DECIGO project. We also report the recent progress of DECIGO Path Finder (DPF) that is small satellite for testing some techniques: Fabry-Perot cavity with drag-free test masses. DPF is planning its launch in 2012. |
