Bondi mass and asymptotic properties of the C-metric |

Abstract |
The C-metric can be interpreted as a system of two accellerating black holes. Although the spacetime is not asymptotically flat in the strict sense, important asymptotic quantities can still be obtained. Using a conformal factor method, the explicit result for the news function and the Bondi mass factor will be given, as well as their behaviour in small mass and small acceleration limits. |
