Title

Free-floating planets towards the Euclid's field of view
Co-authors Lindita Hamolli

Abstract

In this work we examine the possibility that the future Euclid space observatory discover microlensing events in its field of view, caused by free-floating planets. These unbound objects are questioned and discussed several times during this decade. Our calculations are based on latest results about their mass function in the mass range $[10^{-5}, 10^{-2}]M_S$. We calculate the optical depth toward galactic bulge, microlensing rate and find a high possibility of their observation by Euclid. Making use of a synthetic population, we investigate also the possibility of detecting the residuals between the standard curve and the observed curve containing the parallax effect.

Title

On the dispersion of Amati like relations
Co-authors Sonila Bo\c{c}i, Robert Mochkovitch

Abstract

Amati relation is one of the most discussed relations in the physics of GRBs. The question raised is if this relation is intrinsic or a consequence of instruments selection. Furthermore, the analyses of the GRB samples with known redshifts and spectral properties report that this correlation has a large dispersion. In this work we study the Amati and Yonetoku relations by using a Monte-Carlo method to generate a population of synthetic GRBs. We discuss about several factors that can influence on the dispersion of these two relations.
