Abstract |
The presence of particle horizons in FRW cosmology represents one of their problems facing FRW world models. Inflation is a scenario suggested to solve some of the problems. The aim of the present work is to investigate the effect of the torsion, of space-time, on the horizon problem. For this aim the field equations of General theory of Relativity are written in a space with non - vanishing torsion. A geometric structure satisfying the cosmological principle, giving rise to the FRW metric, is used to evaluate the torsion and its trace. It is shown that the existence of torsion prevents the formation of particle horizons in natural and simple way. |
