Abstract |
I will discuss improvements in the modelling of neutron star seismology, focussing on the role of composition, heat, crust elasticity and superfluidity. Recent results allow us to track the changes in the star's oscillation spectrum as it matures and cools. I will focus on the demise of the thermal g-modes and the emergence of both elastic crust modes and superfluid modes. |
