Abstract

We investigate the localization problem of matter fields within the 5D standing wave braneworld. We show that in the case of increasing warp factor there exist pure gravitational localization of all kind of classical and quantum fields on the brane.

Title

Thermodynamic model of gravity

Abstract

We discuss the emergence of relativistic and quantum effects in the Machian Universe with a global preferred frame and use thermodynamic considerations to clarify the origin of gravity as an entropic force. The dark energy is identified with the energy of collective gravitational interactions of all particles inside the horizon. It is shown that Plank and fine structure constants can be calculated using matter content of the universe.
