Title |
From Extended Gravity with Torsion-Spin coupling to Running Constant for Weak-Leptonic Interactions | |||||

Abstract |
In extended gravitation the torsion-spin field equations are used within the fermionic field equations to give rise to running coupling constant for the weak-leptonic potential in the Dirac equations: general fermionic equations for a pair of spinors coupled through torsion are shown to be formally equivalent to the Dirac equations for leptons interacting via the weak forces; since in this approach the weak mediators are leptonic currents, they are not the result of a symmetry break-down and thus the Higgs field is not necessary. Consequences for the problem of unification in physics are discussed. |
