Title

Regular black holes, wormholes and the stability problem
Co-authors

Abstract

Among different regular static, spherically symmetric black holes, of interest are "black universes", containing an expanding, asymptotically de Sitter T-region, able to model the observed Universe. Such models exist in the presence of phantom matter, with or without electromagnetic fields. We consider the stability of gravitating scalar field configurations with different potentials V(φ), including regular black holes and wormholes with flat or AdS asymptotics. The effective potential W for their perturbations is singular at a throat, if any. We show that W generically can be regularized, which leads to obtaining regular metric and scalar field perturbations. As examples, we consider some kinds of wormholes and black universes. For the latter, stability is proved at least for a certain family of solutions.
