Abstract |
We propose a connection between global physics and local galactic dynamics via entropic gravity. This proposal calls for the concept of MoNDian dark matter which behaves like dark matter at cluster and cosmic scales but emulates modified Newtonian dynamics at the galactic scale. We also speculate on a connection between an effective gravitational Born-Infeld theory and MoNDian dark matter the quanta of which obey infinite statistics; the theory is fundamentally non-local. |
