Abstract |
The modification of gravity theory like Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati (DGP) model and Galileon models provides a solution to the present accelerating expansion of the universe. These models have an additional scalar degree of freedom in the gravity sector, and also have a mechanism to screen this field, called Vainshtein mechanism, recovering General Relativity due to the highly non-linear nature of the scalar field. In this talk, we focus on the Vainshtein mechanism in DGP model, and study numerically the non-linear behaviours of the scalar field in a static two-body system. We also give some suggestions of the further modifications to the past predictions of the Solar-system tests such as an anomalous precession of a planet/satellite. |
