Abstract |
We present further developments of model of Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) as Pair-Instability supernovae (PISNe) explosions. Pair-instability occurs at final stages of evolution of very massive stars (more than 130 solar masses) and could lead to the total disruption of a star. Both GRB and PISN are explosive phenomena in very similar environment. Energy budget and time-scale of energy release in PISNe are compatible with GRBs. It is shown by our numerical analysis that this model is able to reproduce the Amati relation. Explanation of important features of GRBs such as time-variability and spectral properties is also proposed. |
