Abstract |
We completely quantize the model consisting of scalar perturbations around an FLRW universe filled with a massive scalar field and positive-curvature spatial sections. A gauge fixing is performed so as to remove the spurious local degrees of freedom. The homogeneous sector is then quantized with loop techniques, while the inhomogeneities are described by a standard Fock representation which is uniquely determined by the symmetries of the spatial sections and requirements of unitary dynamics. We provide a quantum Hamiltonian constraint and characterize its solutions in terms of their initial value at the minimum volume section. Finally, an alternative quantization with a different gauge fixing is also discussed, and leads to similar results. |
