Abstract |
In this talk a discussion of analog gravity is presented starting from its recently discovered relation, at any perturbative order, with the nonlinear Von Mises wave equation of fluid dynamics. In the case of the canonical 2+1 draining bathtub configuration, results obtained through modern numerical relativity tools as superradiance and black hole bomb dynamics are discussed. Such a peculiar fluid flow is extended then in order to take into account compressibility effects. A discussion of possible physical implications of these results is finally presented. |
