Title |
Local metrics admitting a principal Killing-Yano tensor with torsion | |||||

Abstract |
Killing-Yano symmetry has played an important role in the study of black hole physics since Penrose and Floyd discovered that in the Kerr spacetime a first integral of the geodesic equation can be written as the square of a Killing-Yano tensor. In this take, we extend the definition of Killing-Yano equations by considering the skew-symmetric torsion. We attempt to classify spacetimes admitting a Killing-Yano tensor with torsion. We derive explicit forms of the metrics and present some physically interesting examples. |
