Splitting the continuum of equation of state of cosmological scalar field | |||||

Abstract |
We propose a model in which a single scalar field in the early universe subsequently splits into several EOS scaled with temperature. It is an evolving temperature-dependent resolution from a continuum of EOS into a discrete pattern, manifesting in various observable components at later epochs. We study cosmological tachyonic scalar field with three components, cosmological constant as dark energy candidate, radiation and an exotic pressureless matter (with negative energy density) with perturbed equation of state(EOS). It is further shown that these components interact among themselves indicating a solution to the long standing cosmological constant problem. A diagnostic $Om(3)$ has also been calculated using the current observations of Hubble parameter at different redshift scales to constrain the interaction strength. |
