Abstract |
We present results of simulations of magnetorotational (MR) supernova explosion. For the simulations we used 2D implicit Lagrangian code on triangular grid of variable structure. The MR SN energy explosion reached in our simulations is 2.5x10(51) erg. We compare results of simulations made with different equations of state, different configurations of initial magnetic field. MR instability was found in our simulations. It significantly reduces the evolution time of magnetic field. |

Abstract |
Results of 2D simulations of magnetorotational (MR) mechanism of supernova explosion are presented. We made simulations using two different equations of state (EOS). We show that the results of simualtions of MR mechanism weakly depend on the details of EOS. MR instability develops during the magnetic field evolution. The SN explosion energy found in our simulations is ~ 0.5-2.5x10(51)erg. |
